The Sequentially Numbered Metal Detectable Bag Cutter with Enclosed Blade SK116 is designed for food factories and processing areas where reducing the risk of foreign body contamination is a priority. As a metal and X-ray detectable bag cutter, it supports contamination control procedures by making the tool easier to identify if misplaced, while the enclosed stainless steel blade and no snap-off blade design help reduce the risk of fragments entering production.
The design also includes an additional tape cutter, a pointed nose that punctures material, ambidextrous usability, and a one-piece construction with lanyard point. The opposing slopes on the knife head are designed to reduce friction for a more efficient cut, making the knife well suited to cardboard, plastic wrapping, sacks and plastic bags, plastic netting, adhesive tape, bubble wrap and plastic strapping in goods-in, warehouse and production settings.
Its laser-engraved sequential numbering gives each cutter a unique identity, helping improve traceability, accountability and issue-to-user control across shifts, departments and production zones.
